Enabling Environment Module:

Gain knowledge and understanding to plan and implement indoor and outdoor provisions for children aged 0-8
Identify, evaluate, and understand the importance of learning through movement
Develop skills and values to design enabling learning environments
Explore social and cultural factors affecting play and evaluate learning environments considering underpinning theories

Planning for Effective Learning Module:

Develop skills to observe, assess, and plan children’s learning and development in language, literacy, and mathematics
Utilise various observation techniques to gather comprehensive evidence for evaluating child development
Demonstrate the ability to assess and evaluate against statutory frameworks
Identify and discuss the importance of inclusive planning in observations
Determine next steps to enhance learning linked to theory and legislative requirements

Eligibility:

Aged between 19 and 60
Live in England or work in England (some conditions may apply)
No English or Maths qualifications required
Existing degree holders in any subject can apply

Additional Information:

Can be used for CPD or to obtain credits towards a degree
Applications to be submitted to HE admissions
